There are always going to be retailers that try to trick customers into buying products they don’t need, but there are still quite a few items you should keep on your shopping list this Black Friday. Expensive televisions and computers are some of the best items to buy at a discount, but there are also a few other products you should consider purchasing.
Televisions are always a Black Friday favorite, and for a good reason. You can score a great deal on a large, off-brand TV if you make it to the right stores in time. Retailers often have huge discounts on these TVs, but always be sure to check the warranty. Sometimes manufacturers will manufacture TVs specifically for Black Friday that come with shorter warranties. A good TV worth putting on your list is the Element 50” 1080p LED TV at Target, which is predicted to sell for around $230.
If you or someone you know needs a laptop for work or school, Black Friday is one of the best times to buy. Electronics stores heavily discount even brand-name laptops, but be sure to arrive early before they run out of the advertised item. One good laptop bargain is the Dell Inspiron 15.6” laptop at Best Buy. This laptop ordinarily retails for $339.99, but on Black Friday, it goes for as low as $177.99.
Smartphone cameras are great for everyday use, but a good digital camera goes a long way when you are wanting high quality photographs. Electronics stores and larger retailers alike offer discounts on these items that will make it worth your time and money. One camera that you should consider is the Nikon Coolpix L820. This camera normally retails for $279.99, but at RadioShack, it can be yours for only $199.99.
Kitchen appliances may not be at the top of your list, but you might want to add them. You are more likely to find a kitchen appliance at a great price during Black Friday because most people are focused on high dollar electronics. Stores such as Macy’s have doorbuster deals on all sorts of appliances, including griddles, waffle makers, and slow cookers that you can purchase for $19.99, then you can mail in a $10 rebate to double your savings.
Tablets are constantly growing in popularity because they have almost all of the same capabilities as laptops, but they are still small and lightweight enough to easily carry anywhere. There is a wide range of tablets in terms of retail price and features, and most of them are heavily discounted on Black Friday. The 7” Kindle Fire is an affordable, quality tablet, which you can score at Kmart for only $79.
