Mouth or oral cancer can develop on or in any part of the mouth. It happens when cells in or around your mouth mutate. This can grow into a tumor and spread to other parts of the face and head. The cancer can be found on:

  • Lips
  • Gums
  • Tongue
  • Inner lining of cheeks
  • Roof or floor of the mouth

Mouth cancer can be caused by a multitude of things. The signs and symptoms can include:

If you feel like you have any persistent signs or symptoms you should visit your doctor or dentist. If symptoms go on past 2 weeks, then you should make an emergency appointment.
